Community Room |
The community is
welcome to use the attractive, handicapped-accessible meeting
room which seats up to 50 people and is equipped with a full
kitchen. A deposit of $25 is required and will be returned after
the room has been inspected. There is no other charge to use the
room. Call for reservation no more than four weeks in advance. |

Story Time |
The library hosts Story
Time each Tuesday morning from 10:30 - 11:00 am for preschool
through kindergarten. Volunteer presenters offer a variety of
programs for the children. |
| Summer
Reading Program |
Every summer toddlers through fourth grade
children are invited to register for the Summer Reading Program.
Fifth graders through twelfth graders are encouraged to
participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program. Prizes, reading
incentives, and parties encourage young people to maintain and
improve reading skills. For the Teen program, writing contests
for short stories and poems are held and prizes are awarded to
the first three winners in both categories. Visit the

Access |
Internet access is free. Our staff will be
happy to show you how to use our on-line databases that are
available to use in the library, at home, or anywhere in the
world.
Over 6,000 on-line magazines are available through InfoTrac.
Auto repair manuals with over 23,000 different year, make, and
model combinations and 100,000 factory drawings are included in
an automotive database. |
| Genealogy |
The local Dawson County Tree Branches, a
local genealogy group, maintains a helpful selection of books,
periodicals, and videos in the basement Genealogy Room. The
public is welcome to all resources. For more information

Library |
Talking Books are available through the
Montana State Library in Helena. Eligible Montana residents who
are unable to use standard print materials due to visual,
physical and/or reading disabilities can apply to the Montana
Talking Book Library to receive free mail loan of recorded books
and playback equipment. |
